I made a couple sales!

I am thrilled that I have sold a few pieces of my jewelry! I sold a couple of the teal verdigris necklaces I made, and some earrings. What a boost! I really needed that!

Gotta go back to teaching full time soon, which I dread. I LOVE creating jewelry, and I don't want to have to go back to a 60 hour work week with teaching, correcting papers, meetings, calling parents, and all that.

But... I can't pay the mortgage with the sale of just a few pieces of jewelry. I guess I don't have a choice... :(

I LOVE making teal verdigris creations!

I just made several necklaces and earrings using cool teal verdigris charms that I bought on Etsy. I've added little emeralds, green aventurine, and lots of crystals...reminds me of the cool artisan jewelry I saw in Avignon, in the south of France. If you have a chance, please stop by and take a look.

Her is my Fée Verte Green Fairy Children of the Revolution necklace that I made based on the movie, "Moulin Rouge"!

Let me know what you think!

I made several new pairs of earrings today, but...

Well, everyone keeps telling me to hang in there, and that it takes MONTHS before you get any customers or make any sales.

So, I keep hanging in there, but sometimes I feel so discouraged. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Trying to attract new customers is so hard!

Well, I have been really busy trying to make as much new jewelry as I can because I have my very first showcase on July 14th on Etsy.

July 14th is Bastille Day in France--it's their Independence Day, like our 4th of July, so I thought that might good for my creations, since I'm giving everything I make a French name.

I'm going to work with my daughter, Tara, at Waterwaif, to have a drawing for a free giveaway on my jewelry.

I would love it if you would stop by my store when you have the chance. It's bohemienneivy.etsy.com

Please post a blog and say hi. It would encourage me, and I need a little boost right now. Thanks so much for your support!

Au revoir!
